Currently in design, the Sisters House provides a two-unit residence via a new 1000 square foot ADU addition. Design explorations include spatial arrangements to create shared and private courtyards, maximum efficiency of space, and the display of the family’s vintage Porsche as a ‘courtyard art piece’ project.

A second scheme of the Sisters House, in a detached version, provides a swimming pool in lieu of a larger garden courtyard, with an entry and ‘reflection hall’ to take advantage of light refraction qualities from adjacent water as one moves from the lower entry to the upper living space and deck above the pool.
